and employee owned.Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic
and experienced Permanent Construction Project Manager to join our
team in the Engineering industry. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects,
including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. This role
requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple
tasks simultaneously, while ensuring the highest level of quality
and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial
background and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in
delivering complex construction projects on time and within
budget.Responsibilities:1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle
including conceptual design, pre-construction, construction, and
closeout.2. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and
resources, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and
within budget.3. Coordinate and manage all project activities,
including subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and
quality control.4. Ensure all construction activities comply with
design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.5.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients,
architects, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.6.
Regularly review and report on project status to senior management,
identifying any potential issues or risks and proposing appropriate
mitigation strategies.7. Implement and manage project changes and
interventions to achieve project outputs.8. Foster a culture of
continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify
opportunities for process and efficiency
improvements.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of
experience in construction project management, with a focus on
commercial projects.3. Proven track record of successfully managing
large-scale construction projects from conception to completion.4.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, codes, and
regulations.5. Excellent leadership and team management skills,
with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.6.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and
other stakeholders.7. Proficient in project management software,
Microsoft Office suite, and AutoCAD.8. Professional Engineer (PE)
or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.9.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, make sound
decisions, and manage risk.10. Must be able to handle the physical
demands of the job, including frequent site visits and
